Pharrell Williams was fired 3 times from his first and last small job at McDonald’s.
He told BBC Radio 2 presenter Jo Whiley: “McDonald’s was my first and only job. I was fired three times. I was eating chicken nuggets.”
The “Happy” singer admitted that on all three occasions, they were probably right to fire him.
He added: “The first two times it was just because I was lazy. The third time, they said to me: ‘What are you doing? Are you sitting there eating nuggets? »
Pharrell recently admitted that he didn’t realize he had the “motivation” to support his creative talents.
He told British magazine HELLO! : “Everyone is born with creativity, but some are born with a pronounced connection to it. Some are born with energy. Others are creative but don’t feel that motivation. Some people don’t necessarily have the best creativity, but they want it so bad. I didn’t know I had such motivation. For years I considered myself lazy, but I just wasn’t inspired.”
