Tyka Nelson, chanteuse américaine et sœur de Prince, est décédée lundi 4 novembre 2024, à l’âge de 64 ans, a annoncé Associated Press.
Née en 1960, deux ans après Prince, elle s’était lancée dans une carrière musicale et avait sorti quatre albums. Sa chanson Marc Anthony’s tune avait passé onze semaines dans le classement de chansons R & B et Hip-Hop du magazine Billboard.
“Keeping Prince’s Legacy Alive”
The artist was also known for having worked “to keep [l’héritage de Prince] living with his fans who attended fan and industry events,” declared his son President Nelson, in a press release, cited by The Parisian.

The cause of his death is currently unknown.
