New in commerce and crafts in Châtelaudren-Plouagat. The Cosson company, specializing in electricity, plumbing and heating, was bought at the beginning of October by Morellec Habitat, a company based in Paimpol.
“Before the acquisition of Cosson, we had an agency in Paimpol, and one in Perros-Guirec, with 35 employees. The takeover of the Cosson company will allow us to be closer to the inhabitants of the sector, and to strengthen the network of our company,” explains Xavier Morellec, the manager.
The Morellec company now has 42 employees
With the takeover of Cosson, Morellec habitat now has 42 employees: “Rémi Cosson is retiring, but his son Aubin remains at the head of the Morellec agency in Châtelaudren-Plouagat. The team of five remains the same. We are going to recruit two additional employees to expand the team, particularly for maintenance and troubleshooting.”
Rémi Cosson’s workshop was located at his home. The Morellec agency in Châtelaudren-Plouagat will therefore move into new premises, in the Radenier area, near the Le Maitre company and the RN12, “in the next ten days”, specifies Xavier Morellec.
Good news for residents of the sector “because the agency remains local, which is the strength of our profession. People need local services, with employees who live near the agency. The ecological and local approach requires this proximity of employees to their workplace,” concludes Xavier Morellec.
