The British group will perform in Latin America as part of their event tour, which will also take them to the United Kingdom, Ireland, North America and Australia.
The Oasis event tour is enriched with new dates. After adding North American and Australian concerts to this singing tour initially limited to the United Kingdom and Ireland, the Gallagher brothers announced on Tuesday, November 5, a handful of dates in South America.
Their Oasis Live ’25 Tour will therefore pass through Buenos Aires in Argentina on November 15 and 16, Santiago in Chile on the 19th, then Sao Paulo in Brazil on the 22nd and 23rd. According to Sky News, a pre-sale will take place next week – registration is open – before a general sale on November 13.
Unexpected reunion
Oasis made a splash last August by announcing a reunion tour, 16 years after a shattering separation that seemed definitive. Noel and Liam Gallagher, the two enemy brothers at the head of the group, ended their collaboration after an altercation that occurred in 2009 at the Parisian Rock en Seine festival.
The global ambitions of Oasis Live ’25 Tour were posted as soon as this reformation was announced. And since then, international dates have been added little by little. After the United Kingdom and Ireland at the end of August, Oasis revealed dates in North America, before adding Australian shows. The very first concert will be held in Cardiff on July 4, 2025. According to NME, concerts in Asia are also planned.
Controversy surrounding ticket prices
This tour, if it delighted an audience who no longer believed in the reconciliation of the Gallagher brothers, also aroused great controversy after the first tickets went on sale. Many voices have been raised to denounce bugs techniques as well as the exorbitant cost of places. The application of dynamic pricing – the price adjusts to demand – has caused the price of tickets to soar to the detriment of fans.
Faced with the disappointment of their audience, Liam and Noel Gallagher announced, at the same time as their new American dates, that this dynamic pricing would not be applied to the ticketing of their tour in North America. It has also not been implemented for the sale of their concerts in Australia, Live Nation confirmed to the British media The Guardian.
