Two years after the release of Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean BlvdLana Del Rey is back with a new album. The singer will unveil her 10th studio album on May 21, The Right Person Will Stay.
“So grateful that all 13 of my tracks came to fruition thanks to my work with Luke, Jack, Zach and Drew Erickson among others,” she wrote on Instagram. “I can’t wait for you to hear some upcoming songs.”
A first extract revealed
For this album Lana Del Rey collaborated with Luke Laird and his sister, photographer Caroline Grant, but also with Jack Antonoff, hit maker for Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar, and Drew Erickson, who had already worked on her previous album.
Last January, the singer unveiled a short, previously unreleased extract from one of the 13 tracks on this record, called Henry, Come On. At the same time, Lana Del Rey announced the release of another 100% country album, entitled Lassowhich was scheduled to be released in September 2024.
To accompany the release of The Right Person Will Stay, the artist has announced a tour in 2025 which will visit the United Kingdom, Wembley Stadium, and Ireland. Lana Del Rey is also scheduled to perform at the Stagecoach festival in California on April 25.
