An eclectic program for the Musicales de la route de Cézanne, in Tholonet and Aix-en-Provence

The Musicales de la route Cézanne event returns for a fourth edition between Aix-en-Provence and Le Tholonet from July 24 to 29. Christophe Bukudjian, founder and artistic director, explains the program to us.

What’s new in the fourth edition of Les Musicales?

This year the event will take place over six days, compared to three during the first edition. We had already increased the scale with 3,000 people who participated in this event in 2023, making this edition a great success. We therefore decided to extend the pleasure, because this will be an eclectic program for all budgets, ambitious and magnified by the beauty of the place.

This year, we will improve the comfort of the public while keeping this friendly and bucolic side, by also optimizing the stage side. I like to pass on my passion to everyone, to people who don’t particularly frequent large concert halls, and to develop the popular side, but also to discover young talents thanks to the public Master class component.

What will be the sites where the concerts will take place?

For Tholonet, it will be in the Château park in its green setting, at the magnificent Pavillon Sainte-Victoire and at the Saint-Joseph estate.

For Aix-en-Provence, it will be in prestigious places such as the Archevêché theater and the Granet museum. In three years, the festival has established strong links with public institutions such as the commune of Tholonet, the Region, the Metropolis and the Drac, as well as numerous private patrons who guarantee its viability and influence.
