“I collapsed”

Faced with Karine Le Marchand, the host of the channel’s flagship program, the 21-year-old young woman makes a shocking revelation about her state of health. She was diagnosed with cancer during the filming of “L’amour est dans le pré”, between the end of Valentin’s stay on the farm and the discovery of his family in . “A week after I left the Valentin farm, the surgeon called me to give me an appointment quickly,” Flavie explains to our colleagues at Parisian. I had undergone surgery for a tumor that was considered benign before participating in the show. »

Before specifying that his results were not good. “I had sarcoma,” she continues. I collapsed. The oncologist immediately told me that there would be chemo. » Faced with this situation, the production of L’amour est dans le pré is moving forward with the filming of Valentin’s meeting with Flavie’s family, the young woman starting her chemotherapy two days later.

“Flavie was strong”

In a relationship for only a few days with Valentin, a 27-year-old Manchoise farmer, Flavie shares her situation. “I told him that I had been diagnosed with cancer and that I would understand if he was afraid of the situation,” explains the candidate. Sometimes awkward in the program, Valentin wanted to support the woman who now shares his life. “I didn’t ask myself the question of leaving or staying. We always have tough times in life, we have to get over them. Flavie was strong,” he confided to Parisian.

Still with our colleagues, the young woman wanted to demonstrate her optimism and her combativeness. “I’m fine,” she assures me. Why waste away when I’m in good shape and not too sick? Nothing changes except that I no longer have hair. » Starting next Monday, the bubbly Flavie will talk about her personal situation and say more about her life together with Valentin.
