The 5 horses at good odds for the Del Mar meeting this Saturday, November 2

R6C5 – Prevagen Breeder’s Cup Turf Sprint (Gr. I) – 20h43

1 – Believing : I really like this resident of Georges Boughey ! I followed him throughout the year in some of the best events reserved for sprinters and he always performed well. He did not always have free rein to finish, as evidenced by his last attempt in the “Abbaye” or his performance in the King Georges Qatar Stakes (Gr. II) on August 2. For his reunion with Ryan Moorehe will start from rope 1, a considerable advantage on this course with a turn, and will be equipped with blinkers for the first time. He will have to be wary of the American rocket Cogburn but I advise you to follow it carefully!

Believing is currently offered at around 9/1 with bookmakers.

R6C7 – Longines Breeder’s Cup Turf (Gr. I) – 22h03

4 – Luxembourg : Representative of the formidable Aidan O’Brienwho has already won two Breeder’s Cups on Friday evening, thus equaling the record of victories held by Darrell Wayne Lukas (20 victories), this son of Camelot shows up in California for a complete redemption. He remains on two failures against some of the best horses in the world but had previously brilliantly won the Coronation Cup (Gr. I) by clearly dominating Emily Upjohn which he will find this evening. The 2,400 meters suit him perfectly and his good rope number will allow him to apply one of his favorite tactics: leading the race. I see clearly Ryan Moore set off like a senator before leaving under the noses of his adversaries at the start of the final turn. I believe in it!

Luxembourg is currently offered at around 8/1 among bookmakers.

R6C8 – Longines Breeder’s Cup Classic (Gr. I) – 22h43

11 – Sierra Leone : In a race where the attraction will obviously be City of TroyI decided to trust an American competitor, experienced in this type of tournament. Resident of the formidable Chad Brown (four times elected coach of the year in the USA), Sierra Leone demonstrated commendable regularity. He has never been out of the top three in eight public outings, including a victory at the highest level and an honorary runner-up in the highly anticipated Kentucky Derby (Gr. I). It will be associated with French Flavien Prat who has enjoyed great success since he moved to Uncle Sam’s country and could bring his mentor a first Breeder’s Cup Classic.

Sierra Leone is currently offered at around 10/1 with bookmakers.

R6C9 – Maker’s Mark Breeder’s Cup Filly & Mare Turf (Gr. I) – 23h27

4 – War Like Goddess : For the fourth consecutive edition, I will carefully follow this resident of William Mott. In 21 races, this formidable waiter has reached the podium 18 times for three victories at the highest level. During the last two editions of the Breeder’s Cup, she tried her hand against the best horses over the classic distance in the Breeder’s Cup Turf (Gr. I) where it had not been ridiculous. This year she will only compete against females and the race will take place in her garden, at Sea. She remains on several good outings which aimed to bring her to the best for this race and I think she is capable of finally pinning a first Breeder’s Cup to her list of achievements.

War Like Goddess is currently offered at around 4.5/1 among bookmakers.

R6C11 – Fanduel Breeder’s Cup Mile (Gr. I) – 00h47

7 – Bring Luck : I grant you, the rating of this resident of the youngest of the O’Brien brothers will not be very high but I feel obliged to tell you about it! I’m really a fan of this girl’s candidacy. Caravaggio. Second in the 2023 edition of the Breeder’s Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (Gr. I), it has since changed dimension. Beaten by a whisker during her return to the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket, she then went on to win three victories at the highest level, dominating some of the best fillies on the planet. The profile of Sea should not bother her and if she benefits from a favorable race, I am convinced that she will win this Group I.

Porta Fortuna is currently offered at around 3/1 with bookmakers.
