Iconic face of the French music scene for several decades. Florent Pagny has had to face a difficult ordeal in recent years. As a reminder, the singer was forced to give up his big tour to celebrate his 60th birthday in 2021. That year, his doctors diagnosed him with lung cancer. The musician then began a chemotherapy protocol to treat himself.
In his fight against illness, Florent Pagny was able to count on the support of his entire family. Especially his daughter Aël. The latter recently emerged from the shadows by revealing her passion for photography in a first work called Pagny by Ael. Which is scheduled to be released on Wednesday November 6, 2024. As part of the promotion of this book, the young woman will be the guest of Audrey Crespo-Mara in the show Sept à quatre Sunday November 3, 2024 on TF1.
Aël Pagny: “I want to take photos of my father to remember me”
In an extract revealed the day before on social networks. Florent Pagny's daughter spoke about her father. “Aël is a look, a look, a freshness! This is the very first time she has spoken on television, and that in no way diminishes her spontaneity. For years, the daughter of Florent Pagny, a professional photographer, has been telling the story of a father through the eyes of his daughter. And with a book, she honors her first name, 'Aël' the angel-messenger“, indicated the first channel as a caption.
“I really like nostalgia when I look at photos. It's marking, capturing moments and having my memory… If one day I lose my memory, I want to take photos of my father to remember me”first declared the daughter of Florent Pagny. She then explained why she had to do wild shoots of her father.
Florent Pagny prefaced and captioned his daughter's first work
“He doesn't like to pose, but he knows what suits him, so it's very fluid. We walk, we wander, he trusts me and I do what I like “notably revealed Aël Pagny. Having studied at a New York arts school, Florent Pagny's daughter quickly understood that she could turn her passion for photography into her profession.
“I discovered that I could make a career out of photography, and not just a hobby. I was really happy to be able to have more experience and practice”also indicated Aël Pagny at the microphone of Audrey Crespo-Mara. For the record, his first work was prefaced and captioned by Florent Pagny.
