Lots of clouds, mild temperatures… what weather can we expect for this weekend of November 11?

This second long weekend in November will see the gray prevail over the sun over a major part of the country. On the other hand, the sun should shine from Sunday along the Mediterranean.

Those who expected weather as mild as during the All Saints' Day weekend will be disappointed. The three days ahead, punctuated by a public holiday on Monday, November 11, will be marked by gray weather over a good part of the country, according to forecasts from Météo .

After another night marked by stormy rains in Languedoc-Roussilon, precipitation should remain heavy in the region this Saturday, particularly in the departments of Aude and Hérault, placed on orange alert until early morning.

Elsewhere, many clouds will occupy the sky in the north and northwest while showers are expected in the southwest. The sun will however be out in the afternoon over a large part of eastern France, from Centre-Val de to the and Burgundy-Franche-Comté.

Mild temperatures

On Sunday, thanks to the return of the mistral and the tramontane, clearings will return around the Mediterranean with the exception of Corsica, the scene of new stormy showers. “Elsewhere, this Sunday still looks very cloudy, even if slight clearings are possible,” anticipates Météo France.

On Monday, the day commemorating the armistice of 1918, the clouds will still not leave most of the country in peace. The sky will remain cloudy and showers will be possible in the Far East. Fortunately, the regions north of the Seine and close to the Atlantic should see the emergence of clearings in the second part of the day.

During these three days, temperatures will remain mild with maximum temperatures which could reach 17 or 18°C from to Besançon and a mercury oscillating between 11 and 15°C along the Channel. The next day will not see any big change in this area, except near the Mediterranean with maximums exceeding 20°C. On Monday, the mercury should begin to drop, a prelude to a return to seasonal normals for next week
