The Joliette Art Museum Ball raises $430,000

The 5th MAJ Ball for the benefit of the Joliette Art Museum Foundation, under the honorary presidency of Geneviève Guilbault, Deputy Prime Minister, and Pierre-Luc Bellerose, Mayor of the City of Joliette and Prefect of the MRC of Joliette, raised the sum of $430,000. The amount collected will be used to finance activities at the Joliette Art Museum and to ensure its sustainability.

MP François St-Louis is accompanied by Odile Brunelle Beauchemin, CEO of the Joliette Art Museum Foundation, honorary co-presidents Pierre-Luc Bellerose, mayor of the City of Joliette and prefect of the MRC of Joliette , and Geneviève Guilbault, Deputy Prime Minister, Hélène Racine, member of the CA of the MAJ, Emmanuel Préville-Ratelle, president of the CA of the MAJ, Annie Gauthier, CEO of the MAJ, and Yvan Guibault, president of the MAJ foundation.

Nathalie Thibault is with her partner, Sandro Echaquan, Quebec’s first specialized front-line nurse practitioner of indigenous origin and co-founder of the first social pediatrics center in an indigenous community.


The mission of the Joliette Art Museum Foundation is to accelerate the development of the MAJ. In the photo, we see Sébastien Nadeau, mayor and prefect of L’Assomption, his wife, Josée Falardeau, Claudine Harnois, president of the board of directors of the Desjardins Cultural Center, and her partner, René Blouin.


The FMAJ organizes several benefit events. We see here the rector of the UQTR, Christian Blanchette, Solie Masse, CEO of the City of Joliette, Pierre-Luc Bellerose, mayor of the City of Joliette and prefect of the MRC of Joliette, and Charles Milliard, CEO of the Federation chambers of commerce of the province of Quebec.


The Fondation Santé Sud de Lanaudière raised $220,000 during its 33rd annual golf tournament, presented by Desjardins. In the photo, we see members of the organizing committee and partners.


The Mission pour Elles benefit gala at the Old Brewery Mission raised $260,830. From the Old Brewery Mission, we see James Hughes, Nicole Beaulieu, Dominique Lambert, Solange Lavigne, Chantal Rollin, as well as honorary co-presidents Robyn Cohen, from Modico, and Lara Nourcy, from Beneva.


The Aléo Foundation brought together 17 partners and 53 recipients, seen in the photo, who received $200,000 in scholarships and services, as part of its traditional spring cocktail.
