The RMC BFM group announced, Monday October 21, the appointment of Camille Langlade as editorial director of BFM-TV. “His recognized professionalism, his experience as well as his perfect knowledge of the BFM-TV teams will be decisive in leading the channel to great success”declared Fabien Namias, general director of BFM-TV, in a press release.
After being appointed correspondent for Europe 1 in Italy, Camille Langlade joined the station’s political department in 2011. She then joined the Canal+ group as a political journalist on i-Télé, then joined the NextRadioTV group as a political journalist on BFM-TV to follow the 2017 presidential campaign.
After co-directing the documentary produced by BFM-TV Who killed François Fillon?Camille Langlade was appointed head of the channel’s political department in July 2018, before leaving at the end of the 2019-2020 season. After an experience in Sweden, she returned to the RMC BFM group in June 2023 as editorial director of the local news channels of BFM-TV.
“I am very happy to find the editorial staff of BFM-TV, its excellence and its versatility. Honored also by the task entrusted to me: continuing the work accomplished and paving new furrows”reacted the former political journalist, aged 44.
