In Caen, nine renowned chefs cook for Restos du Cœur

THE 130 places available were torn off in a few days. “We even had to set up a waiting list,” smiles Corinne Bosquet, member of the “events” team of Restos du Coeur and in charge of communication for the association in Calvados.

This Monday, October 14, 2024 (7 p.m.), the association dear to Coluche is organizing its second “solidarity gourmet dinner”in the Salon des Légendes du Ornano stadium Caen.

120 euros per meal

For the occasion, nine of the most renowned chefs of the department will settle behind the stoves, in order to prepare a gourmet meal for the guests. “They all responded as soon as we contacted them,” underlines Corinne Bosquet.

Around the tables, the guests will have each paid 120 € for a menu with wine pairing. “The CCI of Caen-Normandy helped us a lot with the operational aspect,” continues the communications manager for the Restos. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry notably made its network of business leaders available. Students from ICEP-CFA, the CCI apprentice training center, will provide the service.

Romain Colucci will be present

Nine chefs will be in the kitchen: Anthony Valette (L’As de Trèfle, Bernières-sur-Mer); Luc Catherine (L’Angle Saint-Laurent, Bayeux); Benoit Guillaumin (The pans that sing, Caen); Charly Gagneux (Le Marronnier, Amayé-sur-Orne); Victor Vrignaud (Le Château de Sully); Vincent Vidal (Le Mancel, Caen); Olivier Barbarin (Magma, Caen); Adrien Haye (Le Pavé d’Auge, Beuvron-en-Auge); Nicolas Barbier (Loison Traiteur, Caen and Ouistreham).

Romain Colucci, Coluche’s sonwill also travel to Caen on the occasion of this “great show of solidarity”.
