The AG Caen et were the only teams in the pool to play this weekend. This match was postponed following a social movement which paralyzed the airports of the Isle of Beauty last October. On Corsican lands, this Sunday November 17, 2024the Calvadosiens unfortunately bowed (2-0).

Two guards on fire

Throughout the meeting, it is a real duel at a distance which took place between the two goalkeepers. It was an open match, where opportunities presented themselves, without necessarily succeeding. In the game however, even if there was initially no goal, the match was intense. The score was a draw at halftime. (0-0).

In the game, I have nothing to reproach the players, neither in terms of involvement nor in respect of the game plan. Above all, we lacked efficiency and we came across a good goalkeeper. Ours was too.

Two goals at the end of the matches

The score ended up tilting on the wrong side of the scale for the Caennais. In the 77th minute, their lack of efficiency was punished by an opposing goal (1-0). Opportunities to return presented themselves without materializing and Bastia was able to drive the point home at the last minute (2-0, 90ᵉ).

We leave the island of beauty disappointed, but it was a very good N3 match and very balanced. Unfortunately, it went our opponent's way. There are still many reasons for satisfaction to remember.
