After an unforgettable season 11 which was marked, in particular, by the success of Pierre Garnier and the revelation of our compatriot Héléna, the Star Academy is back this Saturday evening with the launch of a highly anticipated twelfth season.

It was in fact this Saturday that the 15 candidates, including the Belgian Maylis, joined the magnificent castle of Dammarie-les-Lys.

After the brilliant casting of last season, this first evening was awaited and scrutinized by millions of viewers. The evening had to be perfect. But it is clear that this was not entirely the case.

Let us indeed be demanding! Nikos Aliagas was perfect during the evening… with one exception. Indeed, during the prime, Franck, a candidate, sang the famous song “Ne partes pas sans moi”, performed by Céline Dion. Title which was also the anthem of season 10 of Star Academy.

But Nikos had a little memory lapse and, at the end of the performance, turned to Pierre Garnier, winner of season 11, to ask him what it felt like to see another candidate cover the anthem of his season. Except that it wasn’t really last season’s anthem but rather that of the season before. A detail which did not fail to make Pierre Garnier notice him. And since social networks are ruthless, many Internet users have expressed their disappointment.

“He’s in trouble”, “It was in the bingo”, “We’re sure he’s a presenter” or even “1st blunder of the season”, the X’s were, obviously, numerous.
