The Maroc Cultures Association has revealed the dates of the 20th edition of the Mawazine-Rythmes du Monde Festival, while announcing a quality program full of surprises for all lovers of music and culture, with the biggest stars of the world and Arabic directory.
The date of the 20th edition of the Mawazine-Rythmes du Monde Festival is now known. It will be held, according to the Maroc Cultures Association, from June 20 to 28, 2025 in Rabat. “Placed under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Mawazine-Rhythmes du Monde Festival remains faithful to its primary mission, namely to democratize access to cultures from around the world for all Moroccans,” specifies the Association. in a press release.
As always, the Festival will represent an unmissable cultural moment for the public with, once again, free access for 90% of festival-goers and performances which will uphold the values of peace, openness, tolerance and respect. “For this new edition, one of the biggest cultural events on the planet promises a quality program full of surprises to all lovers of music and culture, with the biggest stars of the world and Arab repertoire, the big names and young talents from the Moroccan scene, as well as a selection of essential figures from the most beautiful musical heritages of the five continents,” underlines the same source.
It should be remembered that the 19th edition of the Festival brought together more than 2.5 million spectators during nine days of musical celebration on the different stages of Rabat and Salé. Created in 2001, the Mawazine-Rythmes du Monde Festival is the unmissable event for music lovers and enthusiasts in Morocco. With more than 2 million festival-goers for each of its latest editions, it is considered the second largest cultural event in the world. Organized each year for nine days, Mawazine offers a rich and demanding program which combines the biggest stars of the world and Arab repertoire, making the cities of Rabat and Salé the scene of exceptional encounters between the public and renowned artists.
