Tahar Rahim will be appearing in “Mr. Aznavour“, the film by Mehdi Idir and Grand Corps Malade, in theaters on October 23. A hard worker, he prepared like a high-level athlete to transform himself for this role. In Sept à Huit he confided on this subject to Audrey Crespo-Mara: “I love the transformation. The idea of becoming someone else seems impossible, even schizophrenic. But having the ability to be able to physically change, to be able to drown and give everything to my character, that allows me to have more confidence in myself. There is something physical that is a bit similar to what high-level athletes can experience.”. And to add about his role in the skin of Charles Aznavour: “You had to find the right posture, move like Charles. It was a lot of observation work. I had to physically resemble him, without disappearing completely underneath.”

Invited to the Cinéroman Festival in Nice, Tahar Rahim appeared very thin. The actor who was present for the closing ceremony of the event surprised with his appearance. Leïla Bekhti’s husband stood out with his high cheekbones, his very cheeks and his hyper-defined jawline… Photographed in a leather jacket, on the Promenade des Anglais, the actor’s new look was even more highlighted.
