An unexpected dinner

Early in the morning, Timothée explains to Bart that he would like to invite his father to dinner this evening. Bart replies that he will go to Roxane and Sara to see Enora in the meantime. But Timothée would like him to be there too since his relationship with Victor has calmed down. Bart admits that this is indeed the case. He therefore happily agrees to have dinner with Victor and Timothée. A little later, Bart confides to Roxane that he is dreading this dinner, because he wonders what topics of conversation he will be able to discuss with Victor. Roxane plans to call him during the meal with a false pretext so that he disappears. Bart refuses, because it would hurt Timothée.

At the end of the day, Victor brings one of his best bottles of wine for dinner. He reveals to Bart that the estate is going through difficulties and that it is necessary to wait to know the amount of compensation that the insurance will pay following the fire. Victor then asks Bart if business is going well at the Spoon. Bart agrees, and explains that he has a loyal clientele. Victor also confides to Bart that sharing accommodation is beneficial for Timothée, because it helps him grow. Timothée, who is cooking, announces that the meal is ready. He prepared his famous triangle-shaped sandwiches.

Rayane and Jack leave Sète to discover the truth

Early in the morning, Jack and Rayane arrive at school together. They meet Bastien and Violette. The two teenagers give Rayane the USB key that they found in Malik’s jacket. They lie to him, saying they didn’t dare watch the content. Rayane thanks them. Bastien and Violette then convince him to keep his father’s jacket.

Not far from there, Romy and Karim are having breakfast. Karim takes this opportunity to discuss their relationship with Romy. Romy tells him that she does not regret having kissed him. “Me neither” replies Karim. Romy then asks him if he remembers how much they were in love. At the time, they were young and spent hours remaking the world. Romy then tells Karim that she forgets everything when she is next to him. “I would like it to be the same for me,” replies Karim, referring to Malik. “It’s with you that I should have built my life,” adds Romy.

Back from school, Jack and Rayane look at the contents of the USB key. It includes a file with dozens of photos of Romy in luxury restaurants and accompanied by always different men. Malik took care to name each file with the name of the man on it. In these photos, Romy poses alongside them, in elegant outfits and seems extremely close to them. For Rayane, there is no doubt, her mother was an escort girl in her past life. Jack tries to reassure his boyfriend by telling him that he may be on the wrong track, but the latter is convinced of what he says. Rayane asks Jack for advice. Should he tell his mother about these photos? Jack doesn’t know how Romy will react and if she will really tell him the truth. This is why he suggests that Rayane contact the men in these photos to check if they are authentic. Rayane contacts two of them and leaves them voice messages.

He then returns to Karim’s house for lunch when he receives a phone call from one of the two men. But he quickly puts an end to the conversion when he hears Romy and Karim coming home. Romy asks her son who he was on the phone with. “No one” replies Rayane. Romy insists because he seems tense. Rayane replies that he doesn’t have to answer her, then he points out to his mother that she doesn’t tell him everything either, like about her past for example. Rayane then goes to her room. Karim joins him to talk to him. Rayane confides to his uncle that he feels like his world is shattering. Karim emphasizes that this is no reason to take it out on his mother. Once alone, Rayane reconnects with the person who called him. A little later, Karim leaves a message on his nephew’s answering machine. He and Romy noticed that he had taken his travel bag without telling them where he was going. Romy is worried. Karim then tries to contact Jack, but he gets his voicemail. He then decides to call Audrey. She activates the loudspeaker and informs him that Jack and Rayane have gone camping. Karim points out that Rayane didn’t take her camping gear. Damien, who is present, goes to Jack’s room and informs Karim that Jack also did not take his things. Meanwhile, Jack and Rayane wait for the bus going to . Jack thinks they made the decision to leave a little quickly. Rayane replies that he needs to know the truth.

Manon and Nordine get back together

At the police station, Manon suggests to Nordine that they go to a concert together. Just then, Nordine receives a message and smiles. Manon asks him if it’s from Noor. Nordine nods. Curious, Manon wants to know what Noor wrote. A little embarrassed, Nordine explains that it’s a private joke between them. Manon concludes that Noor is talking about her in his message. She takes Nordine’s phone to read the text. In reality, Noor sent a photo of herself with Nordine’s vest, and wrote: “I have to think about giving it back to you, because if Manon sees me with it, she will kill me.” Manon takes it badly and tells Nordine that he can forget the concert.

A little later, Nordine confides in Roxane, then he realizes that she put earplugs in and was pretending to listen to him. The young woman justifies herself by explaining that she can no longer listen to him and Manon complaining. At the end of the day, Roxane traps her colleagues for a good cause. She suggests that Manon take a walk. The young woman takes the opportunity to apologize to Roxane for having bored her with Nordine. A few moments later, Manon sees Nordine heading in their direction. Roxane explains to him that she asked him to come. Roxane slips away and leaves them alone.

Manon takes the opportunity to confide to Nordine that she is having difficulty coping with the separation from her parents and the fact that she is in a wheelchair. She then reveals to Nordine that she has made progress and has managed to stand up. Nordine confides to her that since her accident, he is afraid for her and feels guilty. Then, he laments that she hadn’t said anything to him sooner, especially since he was impatiently waiting for something positive without daring to hope for it. Annoyed, he gets up and leaves. A few minutes later, Nordine retraces her steps and apologizes to Manon. He admits he shouldn’t have gotten upset. Manon points out to her ex-boyfriend that this has become their way of operating: they either avoid each other or they argue. Nordine finds this regrettable. He then declares to Manon that he loves her and that he is convinced that she still has feelings for him. Manon kisses him and tells him that she loves him too.
