MVP is AEW’s latest acquisition with Shelton Benjamin. A new name behind the scenes for which some people believed that a conflict could emerge.
We have to go back to the summer of 2022 when Chris Jericho and MVP crossed paths in a hotel that was shared by WWE and AEW stars at the time. It is said that an altercation had started between the two wrestlers over an old story, but no real fight had started.
Chris Jericho even clarified that he had nothing to say on the subject and that he does not fight with “jobbers” by referring to the MVP career. Today, both men find themselves in the same AEW locker room, so how does this story stack up?
It seems that everything is well settled according to information from Fightful. Indeed, MVP met Chris Jericho on his first night at AEW to discuss their problems and bury this old story of 2022. This story was forgotten to the point where Jericho and MVP were seen at chatting together behind the scenes including last week… so good.
