Here’s the real story behind the poisoning case in ‘Indefensible’

The case featured in recent episodes ofIndefensible, worn by Mylène St-Sauveur, has aroused numerous reactions and has already managed to make an impression, but did you know that reality is not that far from fiction?

Since the start of the week, viewers can follow the story of Vicky Marois (Mylène St-Sauveur), who, everything suggests, poisoned the family of her ex-spouse (Luis Oliva), by serving them a beef Wellington which contained toxic mushrooms.

Several viewers recognized that reality is very close to fiction, while a practically identical cause made the headlines not so long ago.

Indeed, Internet users have pointed out that the real story which inspired the plot dates from 2023. A few months earlier, in August, an Australian named Erin Patterson poisoned members of her ex-in-laws with, you will get it guessed, a beef Wellington containing poisonous mushrooms.
