After the successful broadcast of the pilot of “Kalina – The Treasure of the Ancestors”, in October 2023, the adventure and discovery game returns for a new season, presented by Shanel Hill. In this season 1, the candidates will have to find the hidden treasure of the Kalinagos on the quintessential nature island of the Caribbean Archipelago, located between Martinique (to the South) and Guadeloupe (to the North): Dominica.
Another big novelty for this 2024 edition: 3 teams come from three overseas regions (Martinique, Guadeloupe and Mayotte) and 1 team from mainland France (Marseille). The 4 teams will compete in the heart of the lush tropical forests and exceptional natural sites of Dominica, through a competition bringing together general knowledge, sporting and logic tests.
Here we go for season 1 of Kalina! Adventure, discovery, nature, sport, general knowledge, entertainment, humor… we promise you the best but prepare for the worst!
The aim of the game is 16 candidates divided into 4 teams who must take on several challenges in order to find clues, which once gathered, will lead them to the famous Kalinagos treasure. To access the hidden treasure, the teams will have to face physical, skill, general knowledge and logic tests.
At each stage, the candidates compete in a race, puzzles, sporting and general knowledge tests. The time accumulated by each team determines the general classification. The team that obtains the best time will be classified in first position.
During the general knowledge tests, each team must answer questions on various themes linked to the overseas territories and the island of Dominica: fauna and flora, biodiversity, culture, traditions, etc. .
Martinique, Guadeloupe, Mayotte, Marseille… which team will manage to find the legendary treasure of the Kalinagos?
