The Venice Circus returns to Carcassonne with numbers full of poetry in the purest tradition

Installed in the parking lot of the old Leclerc in Cité 2, the Landri family circus offers its new show full of magic until Sunday May 12. Meeting with Steve Landri.

Usually installed at the Jean-Cau space, it is due to the work to expand the Cité des sports parking lot that the Venice circus set up its big top in the parking lot of the former Leclerc, at Cité 2. Arrived on Monday April 29 with its sixty vehicles, the Venice circus has just started the series of performances of its new show, which continues until Sunday May 12 inclusive

Independent – BOYER Claude What would the circus be if there were no clowns, jugglers and trapeze artists?“This new show, whose tour started at the start of 2024 in Aix-en-Provence, is very popular” rejoices Steve Landri. “We feel that the public needs to be entertained. It is a varied show which appeals to young and old alike. There is a lot of poetry, with an atmosphere that we wanted to be baroque. The public is transported. We have the smells and the visual…”

During nearly two hours of show, around fifteen artists will follow one another to put glitter in the eyes of the public, and help them find their way back to the runway to the stars.

The next performances take place on Wednesday May 8 and Thursday May 9, as well as Saturday May 11 and Sunday May 12, at 4 p.m. (single time). Prices range from €10 to €25 per person.
