A 10th special edition: “the clash of champions”

Since 2013, the Cave de la Tour (an institution in Old Nice) has organized its world championship of petit farcis niçois. The jury? A group of friends: multi-Michelin-starred chefs, local cuisine enthusiasts, a winemaker, who all live for their Art and sharing.

Since the beginning of the morning, the jury has been seated at the table, tasting, rating and taking its role very seriously. A bailiff is also present to regulate the matter, Maître François Galthier. Points are awarded to anonymous dishes, the texture, taste and even the quality of the ingredients are judged.

The title was back in play… Bingo!

It is 12:21 p.m. when Jean-Philippe Gazan, the owner and manager comes to announce the name of the winner in front of the hundred spectators: Christine Grosso. This is his third participation, his second victory, after the 2023 edition. Christine Grosso is a 50-year-old from Nice, creator of the Cap Médecine school in Nice (the preparation for the entrance exams to the Faculty of Medicine in Nice).

For the occasion, France Bleu Azur once again offers you the double world champion recipe. It’s up to you to try to reproduce the experience at home! The “little extra things”? Preparation time and quality of ingredients.
The message from the World Champion: “After these great efforts, invite people you love and enjoy!
