She has already won 10 victories and pocketed 59,000 euros. La Niçoise Mélanie, who participated last March in the show Don’t forget the lyricstries his luck again by participating in the preliminary rounds to try to become a master.

The tournament takes place from September 30 to October 5, 2024, on 2, and will pit the eight best participants of the season against each other.

“The show has 32 maestros, these are the ones who won and have been the best since the beginning, explains Melanie. Whoever of the eight wins will face the 32nd maestro.”

The titan duels will then start on Monday October 7 and pit all the maestros against each other.

Registered “on a whim”

Although Mélanie has always been a fan of French songs, she could not imagine one day participating in this show that she was watching. “And then one summer, I was asked why I wasn’t participatingshe remembers. So, on a whim, I signed up for the casting.”

She participated for the first time in 2021, but it was last March that she finally won.

“We are all waiting for the symbolic mark of 20,000 euros in the game, she says. at that moment I chose to sing The pomegranate by Clara Luciani. It was a time when my best friend was hospitalized because she had breast cancer.”

A song which symbolizes a fight that her friend finally lost last June.

“The show airs during Pink October, it’s a bit like she’s always there and watching over me”confides Mélanie not without emotion.
