They arrived side by side at the Panathenaic Stadium in Athens, defying all predictions. Who would have thought that Queen Anne-Marie of Greece would be accompanied by the wife of her second son, Prince Nicolas, when the latter is on the verge of divorce? However, it is a sublime Tatiana from Greece in a royal blue ensemble who appears with her future ex-mother-in-law. Readily complicit, the two women exchange views throughout the ceremony while the Olympic flame is officially handed over to France.
This “trip” has the merit of confirming information transmitted by the secretariat of the royal family of Greece: even after her divorce, Tatiana will retain her title of princess. “Prince Nicolas and Princess Tatiana, after fourteen years of living together, have decided to end their marriage,” we could read in the press release announcing the breakup, on April 19.
