American actress Natalie Portman recently acquired a private mansion of more than 500 m2 with a view of the Champ-de-Mars, in the heart of .

Recently divorced from French choreographer Benjamin Millepied, Natalie Portman has just found a new cozy nest.

The American actress treated herself to a sumptuous mansion in Paris, revealed Challenges. Its property extends over 550 m2 and has a garden, a glass-roofed reception room on the fourth floor as well as a clear view of the Champ-de-Mars.

A jewel at €15.2 million

To acquire this jewel, the actress had to pay the tidy sum of 15.2 million euros net seller.

Glass roof lounge

The mansion was built in 1912. It served as an embassy in the 1980s before being bought by businessman Yves Vatelot in 1990. The latter completely renovated it, according to our colleagues from the magazine economic. A wrought iron staircase and an elevator serve the three floors as well as the glass-roofed reception room, added to the roof in the 2000s.

Prestigious neighbors

Mother of two children, Natalie Portman already lived nearby, in a rented apartment, before separating from Benjamin Millepied.

The actress will have prestigious neighbors; the King of Morocco Mohamed VI, the co-founder of WhatsApp Jan Koum and Olivier Mitterrand, nephew of the former President of the Republic.
