“Small mouth”, “small eyes” and “triple the weight of a Miss France”: Lou Pernaut talks about her complexes frankly

Jean-Pierre Pernaut’s daughter, Lou Pernaut, spoke frankly about her complexes and the way others see her.

Lou, the daughter of Jean-Pierre Pernaut, the famous presenter of TF1’s news, who died in March 2022, is very present on social networks. She recently agreed to participate in the format “Mirror, mirror on the wall”, proposed by Rainbow studio, the media of the Merci Handy brand.

The concept is to evoke the way we look at ourselves, acceptance, the way others look at us. A “body positive” approach, to understand, which aims to make all bodies more acceptable, in which Lou Pernaut participated without hesitation.

“There’s no point in saying it.”

She revealed her complexes, evoking the “number one”, “I weigh three times as much as a Miss .”Beyond her corpulence, the journalist’s daughter mentioned other physical complexes: “I have a small mouth, I have small eyes, I have big teeth. I had protruding ears, I still have them a little. I don’t like my head in fact”.

While she explains that she has made peace with her face, she mentions the many comments she has received about her weight. “There’s no point in saying it. It’s like when people lose a lot of weight, there’s no point in saying it. When people gain weight, there’s no point in saying it. You see yourself in the mirror and you know what you look like.”she recalled.

As a social media content creator, Lou Pernaut knows what she’s talking about. With nearly 200,000 followers on Instagram and 1.3 million on Tiktok, she talks about the “cyberbullying” of which she is regularly the target and is committed to the fight against this scourge, for which she has “lots of projects”she promises.
