The Bitcoin Masterpiece : a crypto-artistic work for the 15th anniversary of the BTC network
It is through a press release published on October 16, 2024 that we learn that the artist Frédéric Imbert and his son Bastien Imbert present a work of art inspired by the famous logo de Bitcoin.
Titled The Bitcoin Masterpiecethe work takes the form of a carbon and aluminum frame, dotted with 146 glass displays and 217 low-pressure neon lamps which illuminate the BTC logo. The work integrates several interactive elements which make it a living and evolving piece:
- Progressive and random illuminations of the Bitcoin logo;
- A real-time display of Bitcoin pricemaking it possible to follow its fluctuations;
- Presenting essential data related to Bitcoin, providing an overview of the ecosystem.
A crypto-work by Frédéric Imbert in a limited edition of 99 copies
Like Bitcoin and its 21 million units, the offer pour The Bitcoin Masterpiece sera limited. The collection will in fact be composed of only 99 numbered copies. Each piece will be unique, and even customizable on request.
Each copy of the work will not be sold in euros or dollars or any other fiat currencies. The work will be offered at the symbolic price of 1 Bitcoin (the equivalent of $68,000 at the time of writing).
