The bricks and other cutlery of the country house will quiver with pleasure with the many activities taking place within it this weekend.

The European Heritage Days are taking place this weekend, but in Lisle-sur-Tarn, it is above all the 9th edition of Lisle Noir “Les vendanges du polar”.

No fewer than 35 guests are expected for this 9th edition with Spain bringing its touch to the round tables and literary cafés which will also have a hint of youth. They will be surrounded by authors from other countries and a host of French authors with, among the regulars, Jean-Luc Bizien who will be the patron of this 2024 edition, Mireille Calmel, Sylvie Allouche and Ian Manook.

Numerous events and awards will punctuate these two days, with, at the forefront, the Ligue Imaginaire/Cultura competition with the prize-giving ceremony on Saturday morning to open the festival.

This festival allows the reader to have privileged contact with the author, other activities with treasure hunt and crime scene at the media library, a Steampunk stand or even the gendarmerie, the technical and scientific police (expertise, search for clues, traces).

For the Heritage Days, the Raymond Lafage Museum invites you to take part in one of the guided tours offered on Sunday, September 22, free of charge. Meeting times are 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. A demonstration of wood engravings with Benoit Auclère, an artist from , is also on the program on Saturday, September 21 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The Association Notre Dame de la Jonquière is offering an exhibition (free entry) in the eponymous church this Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. around the themes of “baptism and communion” (private and solemn), from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th, with an anthology of photos to share and perhaps the opportunity to see ourselves again in alb attire or even younger a few years ago…

The pleasure can continue under the covers of Lisle with free access to the Chocolate Art Museum this Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September, on the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the museum is open from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
