An edition that promises to be a record

The 2023 edition attracted 175,000 people, strengthening the attractiveness of the region more than ever. With more than 120,000 tickets already sold and 5 concerts sold out, the 2024 Nîmes Festival should once again break records. “The Festival de Nîmes brand is now recognized. It is the result of long-term work since its creation in 1997”, says Stéphane Metayer. This year, we are still hoping for record numbers, half of the concerts should be sold out. »

From the arrival of the legend Eric Clapton in May, to that of the star Dua Lipa for two dates in June (the only ones in ), up to the regional concert of the Big Flo & Oli stage in July, the programming has enough to impress according to Stéphane Metayer. “Dua Lipa wanted to come to the arena because it is a place steeped in history, a unique setting. As for Eric Clapton, we’ve been waiting for him in France for 25 years: it’s just exceptional! Big Flo & Oli are now arena regulars, they have come a long way since their first visit here. »

The success of the Nîmes Festival is mainly due to the close collaboration between Adam Concerts and the City of Nîmes. On a daily basis, seven agents work on site to maintain, transform and prepare the monument to host numerous events all year round: from the Feria to the Nîmes Festival. The team does everything possible to ensure that the festivities in the Arena match the beauty of the monument.
