Material :
Form a tripod. Place the large 3 by 3 cleats next to each other, slightly raised (on another cleat, for example). Wrap the string around a first cleat and secure with a wooden knot (or eel knot).
Assemble the 3 cleats together: pass the nylon thread over and under the 3 cleats alternately. Make at least 5 turns to form a solid tripod.
Wrap the nylon thread two or three times around the rope between the slats. Pass the thread to the second intermediate space and also wrap several times around the rope. Pass the thread back to the first space to form a cross on the central cleat.
Finish with a clove hitch. Tighten the knots well and shorten the nylon threads. Make a second tripod in the same way. Sew a flap of about 10 cm into the fabric. Slide a large strip into the slot. Sew another flap at the bottom of the screen and slide in the small strip that will be used to prevent the screen from wrinkling.
