TELEVISION – After hosting “Slam” for fifteen years on France 3, the presenter succeeds Jarry this Monday in the hit midday game show on France 2. A new role that he approached with the desire to put his own stamp…

He felt that “the stars aligned”. So Cyril Féraud chose, after careful consideration, to leave the hosting of “Slam”, the hit afternoon game show on France 3, to succeed Jarry, starting this Monday, as presenter of “Tout le monde veut prendre sa place”, a hit midday show on France 2.

“Leaving “Slam”, which is a baby that I grew up with the teams and that I never got tired of, after fifteen years and of which I presented more than 5,000 numbers, it was a real decision. I think it was the right time,” he said at a press conference in June.

“I didn’t want to abandon the France 3 viewers”

Cyril Féraud will however continue to appear every day on the third channel since he keeps the reins of “Duels en familles”. “We launched this game two years ago and I have the feeling that this show still has a lot of potential to exploit. And then, it was important for me not to abandon the viewers of France 3, I didn’t want them to think that I didn’t want them in the afternoon anymore,” he confides.
