AMD hit hard at CES 2025 with the announcement of its AMD Ryzen 9950X3D! A processor designed for gaming which promises to be the most efficient for the entire segment. The manufacturer blows away the competition once again thanks to its X3D.

Impressive features

With 16 cores and 32 threads as well as a maximum frequency of 5.7 GHz, the 9950X3D is based on 2nd generation 3D V-Cache technology. This processor offers 144 MB of combined cache (L2 + L3), reducing latencies and optimizing in-game performance.

AMD’s choice to limit the V-Cache to only one of the two CCDs allows intelligent prioritization of loads. This design delivers an 8% increase in gaming performance over the 7950X3D and outperforms Intel’s top-end processor, the 285K, by 20% in this area.

For gaming and content creation

The AMD Ryzen 9950X3D establishes itself as a reference for the players. It offers a perfect blend of raw power and gaming optimization. No price has been announced at the moment, but the launch date is not changing. Takeoff scheduled for March 2025 worldwide.
