Oula Palve’s tour of Switzerland

He’s the man of firsts, an aficionado of “yellow and black” whispered to us on Sunday. This season, each time he has donned a new jersey, Oula Palve has found his way to the opposing goal.
This was the case with HC Ajoie on September 17 during the opening of the season in Fribourg. This was again the case with Genève-Servette in the Champions League on November 12 (a double even!) but also with HC Davos on December 26 during the famous confectioners’ truce.

Oula Palve played nine league matches with Genève-Servette this fall.
These feats of arms – almost improbable – recall the extraordinary season of the Finnish player. Marked by a preparation disrupted by a back injury, his start to the season was chaotic to say the least with HC Ajoie (only 1 goal in 18 matches). And when veteran Pierre-Edouard Bellemare arrived in the Jura, Oula Palve was quickly pushed to the edge. He then joined GE Servette, on loan, for two one-month periods. The Finn finally accepted a freelance contract with Davos during the last Spengler Cup. A real tour of Switzerland!
No plan!
For her first experience in our country, Oula Palve, 32, learned to change jerseys, cultures and to adapt each time to another playing system. “It’s something very strange. Honestly , my season is not really in my hands I have to take it day by day. If I am told to go play somewhere, I will go. But I repeat, it’s really strange. -he admitted Sunday after the meeting against Ambri.
