The Alençon vascular medicine practice moves to “more suitable premises”

Currently located in the Coubertin center, avenue de Quakenbrück in Alençon (Orne), the MV-Angio vascular medicine practice will change location from Friday January 24, 2025. The three doctors Sébastien Chausserie, Sylvie Landy, Jean-Michel Monsallier and their eight employees are moving to the Innov’santé building, managed by the Pierre-Noal association, at the Alençon-Damigny university center.

“We are a very dynamic firm, which has existed for more than thirty years, and wish to continue to develop,” explains Jean-Michel Monsallier. After a first move in 2006, the structure now needs “more suitable premises for better working conditions. To avoid stepping on each other.”

Three units

In recent years, the firm has “set up a lot of activities. This is the advantage of a group of doctors,” supplemented by two full-time nurses. MV-Angio breaks down its activity into three divisions. First, a vascular treatment exploration and consultation unit: for phlebitis, arteritis, stroke, fistulas, etc.

Then, a wound and healing unit: particularly for the management of wounds in the elderly. “It is an activity that is generally too neglected because it requires a lot of time and personnel, continues the doctor. However, there is an existing demand from patients. »

Only vascular medicine practice

Finally, for the past year, the office has managed an aesthetic medicine unit: depilatory, vascular and pigment laser, thermolysis and facial care, etc. “This is an additional activity, not covered by Social Security. We got a taste for it! »

MV-Ango is the only vascular medicine practice in Alençon. He works with Chicam (Alençon-Mamers intercommunal hospital center) for vascular exploration, being present once a day at the hospital. “A public-private partnership that works! »

Cabinet MV-Ango, from January 24 at the Innov’santé building, 1, chemin de Montfoulon, marker 7, in Damigny.
