Alzheimer’s disease represents a daily challenge not only for those affected, but also for their caregivers. Aware of this reality, the Communal Social Action Center (CCAS) of Chagny, in partnership with France Alzheimer and the Chagny Hospital Center, is setting up “Alzheimer Cafés”. These meetings aim to create a friendly space where caregivers can meet, exchange experiences, and receive support in a warm and informal atmosphere.

A moment of sharing and support
These “Alzheimer Cafés” are a valuable opportunity for caregivers to break isolation and benefit from moral support. Participants will be able to share their experiences, ask questions, and obtain practical advice to better manage the daily lives of their sick loved ones. These moments of conviviality are also an opportunity to build relationships and feel less alone in the face of difficulties.

Next meeting
The next “Alzheimer Café” will take place on Thursday June 20 at 2:30 p.m. at the Coworking space | Third places of the old buffet at Chagny Station.
The event is free and open to all.
The organizers strongly encourage everyone involved, as well as those interested in learning more, to participate in this initiative. Don’t hesitate to come and meet them over a coffee.
