Being exposed to sugar from the first 1000 days of life increases the risk of hypertension, obesity and developing type 2 diabetes in adulthood. This is what a study conducted by the University of Southern California and published in Sciencewhich analyzes data from British cohorts. The first 1000 days of life take into account the period of development of the fetus in the mother’s womb until the child’s second birthday.
