The Lisloe Pink October events were a real success. They started on Saturday with around thirty people at the bike ride organized jointly with the Déjantés Lislois association and continued on Sunday morning with madison, zumba with Roxane, Lindy Hop with Angélique and a beautiful choreography of three young people (12/13 years old). The Sunday where most of these were concentrated brought in numerous funds with a total of €2,138 for the benefit of the League Against Cancer.
The donations were obtained with the raffle proposed by the Lisloe fairgrounds, the rural families stand with the sale of personalized cards and the dedicated stand with goodies which was a success without forgetting the numerous other donations. Ballot boxes from the League against Cancer are still present in pharmacies and merchants in Lislo. A large local mobilization which helps a great cause, the fight against breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in France and represents the leading cause of cancer death in women. It is necessary to adopt good reflexes such as screening, which can save lives. Detected early, breast cancer is cured in 90% of cases!
