Many associations and companies are mobilizing, as they do every year, alongside Muriel Denuc-Guichet as part of Pink October.

October is here and like every year for more than fifteen years, many people will mobilize for the 2024 breast cancer prevention campaign. It is Muriel Denuc-Guichet, deputy mayor in charge of Associations and Social Action, who coordinates the campaign in Bram. She gives us the whole program.

What are the actions of the commission that you lead?

On Wednesday, we distributed around thirty displays in town to merchants, with objects made by small volunteer hands or purchased to put them on sale throughout the month. We will be at the weekly market on Wednesday morning on October 9 next to the stand of the local Crédit Agricole bank, and on the weekend of October 19 and 20 we will be at Carrefour to hold a stand selling objects.

And the dinner show?

It will take place on Saturday, in the multipurpose room, there will be around 200 guests. It is a meal-show organized by the Twirling-club Villa-Bram and the entertainment troupe “Les Oiseaux de Nuit”, it is supported by the Familles Rurales association. During the meal, there will be a raffle, the prize of which will be offered by the CMJ. You can find out by calling 06 44 21 54 16. On October 6, concert organized by the Friends of the Church and “Christine Conseils” organizes a Cocconing from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. October 9action on the market with the local Crédit Agricole bank which financed a software project in collaboration with the Cancertonous association, the pharmacy “La Voie Romaine” and Midi Santé. THE October 12there will be a country day organized by the MJC, the October 13an orienteering race with the ASB handball, the October 24 and 31 collection days with Axa Assurances and Axa Santé at the Bram and agencies run by Anne and Éric Gout. Finally, an opening day of the motocross field where entry fees will be donated to the benefit of research by the Free Ride Moto-club association.
