The coach of the DRC, Sébastien Désarbre said, Wednesday October 9, that he was confident in the victory of the DRC against Tanzania at the Martyrs stadium in Kinshasa.

He said it a few hours before this meeting, counting for the 3rd day of Group H of the CAN 2025 qualifiers.

« The objective is to qualify after six matches. We are well underway in this campaign. We need 10 to 11 points to qualify. We currently have 6. We prepare the matches one after the other to achieve the best possible performance. », Said Sébastien Désarbre.

The French technician claims to count on the Congolese public who he asks to travel to the stadium to support his foals.

He also recommended to his players to be vigilant against the Congolese beasts in front of a nation which has not recorded a single defeat in five matches played.

For his part, the coach of Tanzania, Hemed Morocco reported that he recognizes the performance of the DRC but affirms that his players will give everything to achieve a good result.

«We know well that the DRC is in the process of performing well at the African level. The DRC has very good players but they also have difficulties that they themselves know. We are focused on achieving a good result. It will be difficult but we will give everything to achieve good results “, he stressed.

The last time the DRC met Tanzania was in the CAN played in Ivory Coast and there they drew.
