VAFC coach Ahmed Kantari spoke before his team’s meeting on the US Orléans pitch this Wednesday, October 9 in a replay match of the 2nd day of the National.

“We have to digest because we have to move on with this match in Orléans which is coming up quickly. Afterwards, you have to analyze the result and the content. The result did not live up to our expectations. A draw at home is not what we are looking for. Now, in the content, there are reasons for satisfaction. We dominated this match for the most part, we created a lot of chances and we conceded very few to the opponent who equalized with a fantastic goal.

We would like to continue our series of invincibility which has lasted since the start of the season. We have to swing the matches to our side. When players put so much effort into investing, they should be rewarded with the three points. One point is not enough.

We are going to play our eighth match of the season and we are where we wanted to be, which is to say in the fight with the leading teams. There is no fire in the lake because we are up there but this match should allow us to consolidate our place among the leading teams. »
