Who is affected by the revaluation which could reach up to 100 euros per month?

The recent pension reform involves an increase in small pensions. 850,000 retirees will see their allowance increase by up to 100 euros on Wednesday October 9.

Good news. This Wednesday, 850,000 people must see their retirement allowance increased, implying an increase of up to 100 euros. “But this varies depending on the duration of contribution to the general system and the amount of pensions,” specified the National Old Age Insurance Fund (Cnav).

This increase comes after the National Fund caught up last September.

For good reason, the pension reform involves an increase in small retirement pensions. Two waves of payment have been planned, the first of which in autumn 2023 which concerned 600,000 retirees.

The second began on September 25 for 850,000 retirees, preceding that of this Wednesday.

Those who meet these three conditions are eligible for this revaluation:

  • Retirement granted at full rate
  • The retiree with a contributed insurance period of at least 120 quarters in the compulsory basic schemes
  • The basic pension, and the sum of all pensions, must be less than a ceiling

More precisely, the amount of Retirement Insurance, after increase, cannot exceed

847.57 euros per month, and the sum of all pensions, basic and supplementary, full increase, must not exceed 1,352.23 euros per month.
