The new timekeeper of F1, and still partner of the Oracle Red Bull Racing team, unveils five new Formula 1 watches.
TAG and Heuer are a story that has been going on since 1986, the year of the merger between Technologies d'Avant-Garde and the venerable Heuer house. The first watch to bear the name “TAG Heuer” will be the Formula 1. A piece which will help to spread the image of the brand to all wrists throughout the 1990s, and which is today the delight of lovers of vintage pieces.
On the occasion of the new edition of LVMH Watch Week in New York, Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer unveiled five new watches within its TAG Heuer Formula 1 collection: four chronographs and the Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing.

Obviously inspired by the world of F1, this new collection features a new case with aerodynamic curves inspired by F1 cars, their silhouette reminiscent of the nose of these racing cars. A first model includes a bold red track and red lacquered details, which can be found on a second watch, enhanced with a red strap. A third variation is adorned with cooler blue details and a two-tone black and blue bracelet, while a fourth displays a lime green track and a two-tone bracelet.

With its micro-perforations, the bezel makes a subtle reference to the brake discs of the fastest machines in the world. On the Formula 1 Chronograph. TAG Heuer has optimized the horn-to-lug distance for greater comfort, while reworking the profile of the case to give it a sober and tapered look. The use of titanium for the case, combined for certain models with a DLC coating, and a rubber strap allow these watches to be as resistant as they are comfortable, ideal for motor racing fans and city dwellers alike. .

The aluminum tachymeter bezel of these models is highlighted with a colored ring distinguishing it from the case. Push buttons reinforce the mechanical design, and lacquered rings in matching bright tones on the crown add a touch of sophistication, reminiscent of the profile of identically colored F1 vehicles. The skeletonized hour and minute hands add a modern and technical touch to the whole.

Finally, since the start of their collaboration in 2016, TAG Heuer and Oracle Red Bull Racing have already unveiled eight watches intended for fans and watch enthusiasts. This year, while the Swiss house remains faithful to being both a timekeeper and a competitor, in addition to the main range, TAG Heuer is launching a limited edition automatic chronograph in collaboration with Oracle Red Bull Racing.

This Formula 1 Chronograph x Oracle Red Bull Racing features a grade 2 titanium case, a tachymeter bezel with a forged carbon insert and an opaline blue dial, decorated with a checkered flag motif reminiscent of the world of F1. Every detail of this model features the iconic Oracle Red Bull Racing colors, with carefully applied Pantone shades for added authenticity. On the back, we find an engraved checkered flag motif, accompanied by the TAG Heuer and Oracle Red Bull Racing logos.
The red lacquering of the crown and the colored ring between the case and the bezel add a dynamic touch of color to the sober design, all enhanced by a yellow lacquered central hand. The shaped push buttons and skeletonized rhodium-plated hour and minute hands underline the modern style of the watch, while the two-tone blue and red strap is adorned with the colors of Oracle Red Bull Racing and F1 racing cars.
