Failing to shine with its results, the Sauber team is unveiling a special livery for the Las Vegas F1 Grand Prix which is being held this weekend. And even for this type of event we cannot say that the future Audi team will manage to transcend us.
The Swiss team therefore unveils a special livery for the second edition of the Las Vegas Grand Prix which is being held from Friday to Sunday in the gaming capital of the world. On the sporting street, Sauber is the only team not to have scored a single point in 2024, the team tries to get noticed by offering a special livery to fans. However, the car retains its sponsor's green color. She simply adds flames to the cars of Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou.
Sauber awaits rebound with Audi
As we have said, Sauber's 2024 season is difficult. It's a white season at the moment since the team has never entered the Top 10 in racing. It must be said, in his defense, that all plans are looking towards 2026 and the name change. The Swiss team was bought by Audi which therefore arrives with its engine and new drivers. Next year, it will rely on Nico Hulkenbergwho is having a good season at Haas, and a newcomer to F1, Gabriel Bortoletoprotégé of Fernando Alonso. Valtteri Bottas set to return to Mercedes as development driver while Guanyu Zhou will undoubtedly discover another category (Endurance or Indycar for example).

At least one more special livery in the coming days
Other special liveries should follow in the coming days. We think in particular of Williams taking advantage of this last Grand Prix across the Atlantic to unveil a special version in New York. Remember that the owner of the British team has been American since 2020. It is therefore in good taste, commercially speaking, to stand out.
