England is recovering and its coach can breathe easy. Beaten at home in the middle of the week by Greece (1-3), the Three Lions went to win in Finland on Sunday, during the 4th day of group 2 of the Nations League B (1-3). Jack Grealish (18th), Trent Alexander-Arnold on a superb free kick (74th) and Declan Rice (84th) scored the English goals which came back level with the Greeks, opposed to Ireland a little later.

The English coach made six changes compared to the last match lost at Wembley and notably included Harry Kane, back at the forefront. His men quickly got their hands on the ball in the opposing camp and faced a well-organized Finnish block. If Jude Bellingham or Alexander-Arnold, unusual left-back, did not exert their talent. ’s Angel Gomes made a subtle deflection to allow Grealish to adjust Lukas Hradecky and open the scoring (0-1, 18th).

The Finnish RATE the car

Grealish now has 4 goals in 39 caps, including 2 scored in 3 matches under Carsley, as many as in 36 matches with Gareth Southgate. The Mancunian put his partners into orbit but they remained quite nonchalant. They let the Finns bring up their block and the interesting Topi Keskinen (33rd) or the powerful Fredrik Jensen (38th) were able to try their luck without finding the target.
