This was without counting the violent clashes which broke out on the stadium square between Lyon supporters, all in the middle of a family audience. Hooded men, dressed all in black, on top of each other, ignoring the police’s attempts to calm the situation with tear gas. “ Violence, whatever it may be, has no place at OL. We very strongly condemn the clashes and attacks which took place in the stadium “, immediately denounced Laurent Prudhomme, general director of OL, who remains the club’s only communications relay on this event.
