On his X account, Jules Koundé responded, in a tone of irony, to criticism of the clothing styles of French players when they arrived at Clairefontaine.

Jules Koundé defends himself. On the eve of the French team’s match against Israel, Thursday (8:45 p.m.) in Budapest, the French defender spoke on his X account to respond to the numerous criticisms received by the Blues on their apparent clothing styles during their arrival at the Château de Clairefontaine on Monday. While his teammates Ibrahima Konaté and Bradley Bracola found themselves at the center of the subject, the FC Barcelona player decided to respond. Not without irony.

“But anyway, gentlemen, you must not get carried away like this for so little. Faced with this abundance of kindness we no longer have a choice.., wrote Koundé, in response to an extract from the show Rothen s’enflamme broadcast this Wednesday on RMC. The next gathering, we promise, we will all arrive with tracksuits, crampons on our feet without forgetting the parka if it rains Mr. Larqué.”

Former French international, Jérôme Rothen denounced “a circus” while Jean-Michel Larqué, consultant for RMC, regretted that the “first concern” of the Blues or of “know how they will disguise themselves”. A double rant which did not escape Jules Koundé, often on the lookout to give his opinion on social networks.
