Policy. The president of the Meuse Rognon community of communes (CCMR), Nicolas Lacroix, presented his wishes to the agents and elected officials who bring the region to life and work to make it attractive, despite a complex budgetary context. Special mentions were made to France Services agents, fundamental local links.
It is the town of Andelot-Blancheville, and its mayor Marie-France Joffroy, who are receiving this Monday, January 20. Before setting out the outlook, the president lists the latest assessment: “The efforts initiated the previous year were stepped up in 2024, notably with the intensification of targeted training on prevention for all our agents. Also note the sustainability and expansion of support for users through France Services, which has seen its attendance and assistance with files increase exponentially this year. This shows that many households are not yet ready for all-digital technology. Even I needed their help recently to redo a registration document. We are going to strengthen the presence of the teams in the region, thank you to them for their professionalism. New services will also be offered. »
The CCMR is working to modernize its image, with an overhaul of its visual identity (logo etc.), and a new format for its community magazine. “Paper remains dear to many of us, and detailed information is necessary. Many residents are unaware of our actions, and who is doing what. » On the subject of the Andelot health center, the president recognizes the controversies caused by the unconventionality of doctors, while refusing to take part in it: “We are continuing the investments, for the future nursing office, and welcoming more 'others. Concerning the choices made jointly by the doctors in place (deconvention), they can be contested. But the doctors are there, the offer is there. And I know that many deprived territories envy us. » In terms of investments, return also on the work in the schools of Andelot-Blancheville, Bourdons-sur-Rognon, Doulaincourt-Saucourt, Bourmont, Saint-Blin, or even the Breuvannes library. IT renewal continues across all structures, as well as the installation of fiber.
Balanced budget and mobile medical practices for 2025
The territorial revitalization operation “Small towns of tomorrow” (support and accompaniment from the State known as “hand-made” for towns with less than 20,000 inhabitants) has progressed well, particularly with the recruitment of a project manager. . The program continues for the six labeled municipalities in the region (Illoud, Bourmont, Saint-Blin, Doulaincourt-Saucourt, Andelot-Blancheville and Breuvannes, Editor's note). Then, mention of the youth and sports service which in 2024 made it possible to support 350 children on discovery trips and other activities.
-“All year round, you are committed to a quality public service, for families and children as a priority, because that is what guarantees the attractiveness of the territory, and I thank you for that. If the State is holding on, in this uncertain context, it is thanks to the municipalities and communities which are staying the course, with balanced budgets based on revenue, which the State has not been able to do since. decades,” supports the president. To come, the renovation of a total of six kilometers of roads started in the spring, the official launch of work relating to the Illoud crèche, and the development of the former Bourmont Post Office to accommodate home and professional care services health. Notable for 2025 is the deployment of mobile medical practices in the region. “The timetable for the system is to come. For municipalities with medical centers, professionals employed by the Department will be able to provide support. For those without premises, the equipped trucks will offer consultations throughout the day, via a single number or Doctolib. This system applies to the CCMR, as elsewhere. » It is up to the president to conclude with final collective thanks in a “context of tension, where our small communities, with low demographics, are subject to the same imperatives and obligations as the best equipped. »
