In Aisne
On January 25, in the Château de Villers-Cotterêts, the Cité internationale de langue française invites you to a journey into the world of François Rabelais, the author of the famous parody novels Gargantua et Pantagruel. On the program is a “frozen speech” workshop which, through the playing of Olivier Martin-Salvan accompanied by the music of Miguel Henry, will explore the Quarter Pound (1552) by Rabelais. In the Oise
On January 24, from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Coudray-Saint-Germer library is organizing a sleepover. The opportunity to discover or rediscover the tales of our childhood, via readers and games.
As for the Chevalet de Noyon media library, it invites you on January 24 and 25 to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Bécassine, born under the pencils of Picard Joseph-Porphyre Pinchon. Various activities on the menu: reading to share, strolling in the footsteps of the Pinchon brothers, screening of the film Snipe! by Denys Podalydès, workshop of stories drawn in the right direction, Bécassine and Suzette. Two meetings in La Neuville-en-Hez. On January 24 from 6 p.m., readings aloud around language and transmission: ancient expressions and words that have disappeared, lines from cult films. And on the 25th, from 10:30 a.m. meeting with the author Mary Bardou-Urbiha, for her book 49 Grande Rueinspired by his childhood memories in La Neuville-en-Hez. From 2 p.m., extracts from this book will be read by the actors of the Compagnie Théâtre Tiroir.
In the North
On January 24, at 7 p.m., the Le Non-Lieu de Roubaix association will invest in the Cavrois-Mahieu textile factory. During the evening, you will be invited to knit or embroider on a piece of work. A reader of Le Non-Lieu will accompany you through her readings. This is therefore the ideal opportunity to discover new books and the emblematic Cavrois-Mahieu factory. In the Somme
On January 24, in Amiens, from 5:30 p.m., go to the Hélène Bernheim library to listen to special stories… It is indeed the little ones who will tell stories about wolves to the adults. You will then be able to discover a preview of the bag stories designed by the ALCO seamstresses and a librarian.
In Corbie, on January 25, from 5 p.m., the Les diseurs de beaux texts association offers readings around heritage. You can also bring your texts to read or have others read.
The Abbeville media libraries focus on young readers, with nursery rhymes for toddlers on January 25 from 10 a.m., musical readings for children aged 4 and up at 4 p.m., and a sleepover at 6 p.m. for 0-4 year olds. . More details here.
