Creusot Cycling: Mathieu Perroux at the foot of the podium at the Regionals in Château Chinon, Hugo Antunes on the podium in the Jura

Another nice weekend for Creusot Cyclisme

This weekend took place the Château-Chinon Cyclo-cross with rain and hail at the event for the competitors.
Mathieu PERROUX starts on the second row with Romain CHARLES for the Espoir/Senior + Junior race. and comes out 3rd at the first turn.
After a difficult start to the race which saw Mathieu drop back quite quickly to 8th before quickly overcoming his opponents one after the other to finish with a good 4th place at the foot of the podium.
Romain CHARLES fought well with only one bike available and took an honorable 7th place.

Hugo ANTUNES on the podium in BANS (Jura)
On Hugo's program this Sunday, the Bans cyclo-cross in the Jura.
On a rather rolling circuit but with poor weather conditions and very soft terrain, Hugo ANTUNES will take the start of the 9th round of the Regional Cycling School Challenge which brought together around thirty participants in the U15 category.
When the whistle blows, Hugo makes a very good start and arrives in the lead from the first difficulties.
Hugo ANTUNES will, however, be overtaken by the two main leaders of the regional challenge during the first round. He will fight to stay in third place but due to a technical error will be relegated to 4th position at the end of the course.
But via a good effort on the last meters of the event Hugo ANTUNES will launch the sprint which will allow him to reach the 3rd step of the podium.

Great results for Creusot Cyclisme which further reinforce their results for the season, in particular the results obtained during the last FSGT regional cyclo-cross championships in Montceau les Mines where the creusotins shone with the regional title for Hugo ANTUNES and Pierre Fabien DAUVILLAIRE in their respective categories and great runners-up for Gary GRILLOT, Mathieu PERROUX, Eldwin CHAMPAMRTIN
